Litegrip "Seat Riser"

Article written by Moab Man

Date Added: 05/04/2006

When you're wheeling a Jeep Wrangler, have you ever noticed how the seating position is a bit low? Then with the new seats for 2004 it got even worse.

Think back to the last time you were approaching any kind of a drop off, did you find yourself leaning forward craning your neck? Or, maybe you're just a little short and find that even bringing the seat back, up, and the whole seat forward, still doesn't give you quite the view over the hood you would like.

Well our friends at LITEGRIP.com have brought us another simple, yet effective idea.
The 1" aluminum spacers are simply placed between the seat bracket and the floor of the Jeep.
Longer replacement bolts are needed from your local Home Depot or Lowes.

For your safety, when replacing bolts use grade 5 or 8 bolts.

Final Thoughts

The seating position was definitely improved, with a much better line of sight off the nose of the Jeep.
