President William J. Clinton stated in his White House Program for the National Moment of Remembrance, ??Memorial Day represents one day of national awareness and reverence, honoring those Americans who died while defending our Nation and its values. While we should honor these heroes every day for the profound contribution they have made to secure our Nation's freedom, we should honor them especially on Memorial Day.?
President Clinton directed that 3 p.m., every Memorial Day; there should be a minute of pause and remembrance. Here at MOABJEEPER Magazine, we have taken this weekend off to spend with our friends and family.
