Baja Taco Front Bumper Combines Aggressive Looks with Multi-Purpose Performance!

AUGUST 4, 2010 ? HEMET, CA ? When All-Pro Off Road?s Jon Bundrant built their latest project vehicle, he was shooting for a rig that would be as comfortable at high speeds through the desert as it would at a more leisurely pace exploring the mountains and back country. The Baja Taco was the result, and several products from this R&D platform have made it into All-Pro?s product line.

?The Baja Taco Front Bumper is based off of our earlier model pre-runner style tubular bumper for first-generation Toyota Tacomas,? says Bundrant, ?But several additions make it even more suited to the multi-purpose intent of the Baja Taco, as well as giving it a pretty mean look!?

Aggressively styled tubular headlight hoops act as brush guards to protect the Tacoma?s front corners when chasing through the heavy brush. Additional steel side plates provide similar protection from hazards closer to the ground. The Baja Taco Front Bumper will be available complete, or with the additional components shipped separately for user installation, to keep the shipping costs low. In addition, the Baja Taco-specific components will be available separately for customers with existing All-Pro pre-runner bumpers to retrofit them and upgrade to the Baja Taco design without buying a whole new bumper.

Beefy race quality uniballs are used in the upper and lower A-arms for strong, smooth operation.

These arms provide 2? of additional track width per side and provide up to 12? of vertical wheel travel. All-Pro offers them in kit form, with or without Fox or Walker Evans orologi replica coilover shocks. For those wishing to retain the use of their existing (non long-travel) aftermarket adjustable coilovers, All-Pro offers an inexpensive coilover spacer kit.

?This kit has been in the All-Pro arsenal for a while now, says All-Pro owner Jon Bundrant, ?but we continue to improve and refine the components in the kit. We run these on many of our own trucks, which get regular, rigorous testing everywhere from the desert washes to the Hammers. Our Long Travel System is the culmination of all that experience, abuse and product development.?
